Lifting Local Water Promoters

Water Promoters care for communities by partnering with residents of current purification sites and by identifying new communities needing a purifier.

Water Promoters:

  1. Identify communities in need of a water purifier
  2. Accompany those communities by educating on the benefits of clean water and provide maintenance of the water purifier.
  3. Install the water purifier and train the local water committee on its maintenance and give the communities clean water workshops.
  4. Monitor the numerous purifiers throughout the year.

Water promoters are the key connection to sustaining the agency’s work. Without them, Clean Water for the World could not provide clean water to 150,000+ people daily.
