Installation Process

Community members work together to do development projects that improve the quality of the lives of their families, particularly to improve the lives of the children.

Since 2007, Clean Water for the World has worked with non-profits in the U.S. to provide access to purified water. Typically, organizations or persons connected to those communities will connect with CWFW by applying for a purifier.

CWFW works with the primary contact to ensure that a water committee is trained, prepared and committed to maintain the water purifier. This usually involves giving the community a water and sanitation workshop as well as training the water committee on the purifier once it is installed.

The water purifier is usually shipped with a contact person with the community and comes with maintenance and installation instructions. All parts easily fit into a duffel bag that is either shipped or taken as part of a delegation to the site.
