Las Lagunas, Nicaragua is a mountain community near Boaco in the center of the country.
The Clean Water system is installed at the local school. The kids bring their soda containers each Friday for a fill-up of safe drinking water. The teacher's family members are the caretakers for the system. The Clean Water system has virtually eliminated diarrhea, which is the leading cause of death among children in the community.
